WHO WE ARE
Established December 12, 2003, Lumen Entertainment, Inc. is a tax-exempt 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to inspire the sixty-six million Catholics nationwide with entertaining, evangelical and educational products. Lumen offers pre-school to high school students’ positive learning through audio, visual and hands on experiences that aid to instill life-long values. While the target audience is young, people of all ages can enjoy and appreciate these products.
Lumen Entertainment’s core concept is to produce a series of creative teaching aids to teach Catholic families the basics of their faith as well as to ignite a passion to seek a deeper on-going personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Lumen Entertainment’s high quality and creative approach has rapidly positioned Lumen as the “premier provider of catechetical entertainment.” The Catholic market, virtually absent of media evangelization, has created ripe opportunities for Lumen to capitalize on our mission by providing unique, effective and fun catechesis products. This along with the growing desire of parents and educators for Catholic-based entertainment, and the dedicated Lumen team with the passion and talent to produce high quality products, are key components to success.
Lumen seeks to make products affordable and available for all interested. This is done through product sales, fund-raising activities, donors and foundational grants, with a solid financial approach to managing these resources. The longevity of Lumen is guaranteed by its commitment to continually improve the quality and integrity of its products and programs.

What Does Lumen Mean?
Lumen is the Latin word for light. Christ is the light of the world, and our desire is to spread His light to the world.
Mission Statement
“To enlighten and nourish with Truth through the arts.”
This means that our mission is to make the truth visible and nurture its growth within the family through the most inspirational means of the arts. We will entertain, educate, and evangelize the youth and family by proclaiming the message of Christ, in the spirit of the New Evangelization, through the mass media. The documents of the Second Vatican Council and the Holy Fathers Encyclical New Evangelization will be our guide in the development of these media tools. We will also use the work place to bring dignity to the worker as described in the encyclical Laborem Exercens.
